Cam Girls played their first under 15s indoor cricket tournament last weekend.  Cam's team were a very young group aged from 10-13.  Cam's first match was against Bridgend.  The girls put up a strong fight but were unable to match the run rate.  Cam's second match was against Thornbury, again the bowling was very accurate and fielding was tight.  Cam's opening batsman Rebecca Davies and Alice Helliwell put on a good  score,  Rebecca hitting the ball over the boundary net. Cams final match was against Portishead.  Charlotte Pretty and Meg Castle both helped slow down Portishead's run rate with some accurate bowling.  Raechel Larner one of Cam's youngest players batted with great confidence.  Once again it was a very close match. Despite losing all three games, the girls were not put down by this and are looking forward to their next matches. (Written by Hannah Castle).
